OTHER STUFF !!

1. The previous Keth line-up, plus interloper, 2004. Lorraine is on vocals and guitar/club, with Pete guesting. Outside, Pete’s twin brother leaves early.

2. Gazza and Pete guest with The Reptiles R&B band, Bournemouth, spring 2006, for a rendition of the Feelgood’s She Does It Right. To the left is Pete’s dear friend Dave Spud Ferris. Both played together in The Hedge Monkeys folk-rock outfit for several years.

3. Helen, her son Spike (right) and friend Lukas (centre) formed a trio while sailing round Iberia in 2004. They played a mixture of Irish and strange Balkan tunes. Despite having a ’good’ voice, naughty Luke refused to sing any songs!

4. Pete’s old band, The Hedge Monkeys. Line-up was fiddle, guitars, mandolin, banjo, bouzouki, bass, drums and gob. As we can see, besides his beloved bouzouki Pete also strums around with guitars.

5. Richard’s previous band, Kakistos, was a four-piece rock covers outfit based in Falmouth, with a preference for anonymity. This was because next to the other three, Richard looked so old. Left to right: L (drums), Jerry (guitars, vocals), Brett (vocals, guitar), Richard (bass).

6. Gazza has drummed with many bands during his colourful career. Here he is with The Rick Burners, a strangely rural name for a London-based band, during the mid-80s. Why are there two drum kits on stage?

7. A much younger Bill Wyman is introduced to Mr Gazza during a Tower Records do in London, 1985. Careful with that hand, Bill.

8. Gazza torments the Slide Blues Brothers with his drumming and hairstyle, 1991.

9. Pete’s first band, The Wreckers, was an eight-piece folk ‘combo’ with seven ugly people in. Here, he plays his bodhran with two other Wrecker persons, left Blind Andy (banjo), right Les Gobshite Breckon (melodeon) - happy 1993!

10. The Slaves with Lorraine and guest, Penryn Fun Day, August 2004. The best pub in the world is just behind - any chance of a freebie?

11. Another satisfied employer. Dave of the Cadgwith Cove Inn post-gig, August 06, with some of the evening's dead-uns.
